What is NRML?

NRML is built around a simple idea: demystify the noise.

NRML is me, a guy. I’m Nathan Larkins. I like solving problems, connecting dots, and figuring out why things feel harder, messier, or more complicated than they need to be. A lot of my work lives between operations, systems, communication, UX, and technical problem solving — usually in places where those things start to drift.

I work collaboratively and seek to understand how work actually happens. Sometimes that means untangling workflows, improving communication, refining systems, troubleshooting technical issues, or helping teams navigate operational growing pains. Sometimes the problem lives at 10,000 feet. Sometimes it’s hiding in a checkbox nobody’s looked at in three years.

My goal is never to force people into rigid systems that look good on paper but fall apart in practice. I care about building solutions that are clear, usable, sustainable, and realistic for the people actually using them.

I work hands-on with teams to understand where communication, workflows, or systems start breaking down and what’s creating unnecessary friction day-to-day.

Some of the best work happens before anyone fully understands what the actual problem is yet.

I’m that guy.
